There are specific regulations that apply when you want to import food additives products into Vietnam. They are all regulated by the Government and Ministry of Health following these Circular below:
According to the above information, the Announcement of Food Additives should be done before importing. Each Announcement is for one kind of products only. After that the importers need to get the Certificate of Food Safety for the products.

When food additives shipment arrived to the sea port/air port in Vietnam. The importer needs to apply testing require for food additives safety to the Ministry of Health or Ministry of Industry & Trade or Ministry of Agriculture (depends on ingredient of products in order to apply this test)
