HOW TO IMPORT CERAMIC BOWL INTO VIETNAM?

Related Laws & Regulations:

  • Decision 3482/QĐ-BKHCN about Announcement of Products which is managed by Ministry of Science & Technology.
  • Decree 27/2012/TT-BKHCN about Quality Testing for imported goods which is managed by Ministry of Science & Technology.
  • Decree 07/2017/TT-BKHCN amended, added some points of 27/2012/TT-BKHCN issued on 12 December 2012 by Ministry of Science & Technology about testing quality for imported goods.

IMPORT PROCEDURE CERAMIC BOWL INTO VIETNAM

  1. Register a Conformity Certificate

Preparing full set of documents which is complied with rules of Vietnam Government.

Testing sample is a must.

  1. Register a Quality Testing for Imported Goods
  1. Documents follow:

- Application for a Testing quality of imported goods ( 4 origin)

- Copy of  Sales Contract, Packing list, Cargo manifest (If any).

- Copy of Quality Testing Certificate by export country (Importer can provide an authorized copy or original copy in order to compare with copy one).

- Other related documents such Bill of Lading, Invoice, Import customs declaration, C/O-Certificate of Origin (If any); photos of goods, description of goods, label of goods with a Conformity Stamp, CFS.

  1. Importer must take responsibility of cargo’s regality follows the applied documents.

Importer applies documents for Department of Standard Metrology & Quality.

The result will be released within 3 working day by Department of Standard Metrology & Quality ( by form 3 of Appendix of Decree 07/2017/TT-BKHCN). This result must be sending to the importer in order to complete the import customs procedure.

The goods can be cleared in advantage while waiting for the result of Testing Quality. In this case, importer must show the Receipt of Application for a Testing Quality to customs staff. Once imported added a Quality Certificate, import customs clearance is finished.

  1. Process of customs clearing
  • Documents follow: Invoice; Packing List; Contract; Bill of Lading; C/O (If any); Quality Testing Certificate.
  • Submit customs declaration
  • Paying tax, customs charges.
  1. Adding a Quality Testing Certificate for custom department in order to finish up the import custom procedure (in case cargo is cleared in advantage)
