The process of procedure for importing Frozen fish or any kind of frozen foodstuff into Vietnam are following these steps below:
Step 1: Checking suppliers list
Firstly, importers must check the suppliers/factories of the export country if they are registered & listed on system of Vietnam government, it means exporters must apply license before export frozen fish into Vietnam. Please check the list of registered suppliers on the link of Plant Protection Department www.cucthuy.gov.vn & http://nafiqad.gov.vn
HS code of frozen fish belongs to group 0303. Depending on products, importers can search the suitable HS code.
Beside the License for supplier, Importer must apply this Certificate before importing frozen fish into Vietnam.
